He was born at Giannitsa Pellas ( Greece) in 1977.He began the first trumpet lessons in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Giannitsa at the age of 10. At the age of 11 he started trumpet lessons with Mr. George Halkias at the Municipal Conservatory of Giannitsa.

In 1993 he took a master Class at Lieksa of Finland with two world famous trumpeters, Charles Gayer (2nd trumpet of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, soloist) and Timofei Dokshitser (soloist).

In 1996-1998 he studied at the Athens Conservatory with Professor Mr. Xanthoulis Nick (1st trumpet in Athens Opera Orchestra).

In 2000 he attended seminars in the town of Kalavrita, the Master Classes with Vince DiMartino (soloist), Richard G. Illman (soloist, Professor of trumpet at Michigan State Univercity (MSU) School of Music).

To 2001 he participated in a Brass Conference in Manhattan, New York.

In 2004 he took his honour Degree from the Municipal Conservatory of Giannitsa, in the class of teacher Mr. George Halkias.

He took a Master Class with many musicians, such as professor Amy Gilreath, Bill Jones and Harold McKinney,  Britton Theurer,  Erden Bilgen,  Gary Mortenson,  Jonathan Martin,  Joyce Davis,  Rich Stoezel, Robert Murray, Vince DiMartino and John Hagstrom. He has taken private lessons with Matheas Cans (Berlin Opera).

In 1994 he did concerts with Volos Youth Orchestra conducted by Mr. George Hatzinikos.

He also did many concerts with the Brass Quintet of Giannitsa.

Since 1999 he was a member of the Municipal Orchestra of |Thessaloniki as a temporary musician. He also has participated in Volos Symphonic Orchestra as the First trumpeter.

From 2001 until 2007 he was playing as a Sub-Principal Trumpeter of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchesta as a temporary musician.

He was also a member of Magic Road Big Band.

He was the lead trumpet of Aroma Caribe and he was a founding member of the group “Seven of a Kind”. He was the trumpeter of the group Sotiria Kollia & the background Collective.  Member of Plus ‘n’ Minus Collective Orchestra , Vassilis Sotiriou & the Blue Rose Band and he makes two groups: Target Jazz Band and ZZ Jazz Quartet. .

He is a member of the Brass Ensemble of Giannitsa.

From October of 2007-2010 he was the Principal Trumpeter of the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Tessaloniki.

In 2010 he decides to take action in jazz music. So he leaves the Orchestra and lives like a freelance musician.

In 2016 he recorded his first personal CD named “First Time” with his own original compositions.

The recent years he teaches trumpet at the Philippos Nakas Concervatorium, Central Conservatorium of Thessaloniki and also gives private lessons. He is also conductor at Philippos Nakas Big Band.

He has recorded for various other artists’ album as lead trumpet and is considered a commercial trumpeter.
